The Little Italy San Jose Street festival was founded in 2016 and takes place the 1st weekend of October. This festival that highlights our developing Italian district and celebrates "all things Italian" has quickly become one of San Jose largest Festivals with 20,000 people attending our Italian celebration now in it's 8th year. Our Festival expanded into the Guadalupe Park in 2022 with Ferrari And Lamborghini's in the Supercars of Italy car show and also has a kickoff dinner on Friday Night at the Little Italy Museum & Cultural Center. This festival is presented by Little Italy San Jose Foundation 501(c)3 and 100% of the funds go toward the Little Italy Cultural Center & Museum and placemaking and district additions to Little Italy San Jose including Bocce Courts, a 2nd Arch, murals and Italian Flag crosswalks. Little Italy San Jose is made of dedicated volunteers and our grass roots organization has helped transform this once blighted cultural historic district through the installation of a gateway arch, recruitment of Italian businesses, and the opening of our Italian Cultural Center & Museum.
